Jax Beach Golf Club has PGA and LPGA certified instructors to help anyone from the complete beginner to the most advanced golfer. Our team of 5 instructors have amassed over 135 years of teaching experience. 

We offer junior golf clinics throughout the year and help children of all ages. We offer help in full swing, short game, pitching and chipping, putting, rules, golf course management, fitness, etiquette, fun and much more. We provide all equipment for the juniors as well as the safety and security that all parents desire for these programs. Our goal is to teach, educate, inform and infuse the fun of the game of golf to all junior golfers.

*Parents will need to transport children to Jax Beach Golf Club. Equipment is provided.

If you are ready to open the world of endless possibilities for your child, come learn Spanish by playing and having fun at FALA. At FALA you will find all of the fun clubs in one club!

FALA offers a fun and unique age appropriate program which incorporates STEM / Coding, Cooking, Art, and Soccer that help children to learn and retain Spanish. We will travel the world with “Fali the robot and his friends” as he helps us code in Spanish; we will also explore and embrace Spanish culture as we discover some famous artists, musicians and inventors. Children will learn how to think in Spanish as they are improving problem solving, multitasking, creative skills, self-confidence and experience enhanced brain development as they are having fun learning Spanish. All Spanish levels are welcome!

Give your child the gift of knowing a second language and watch them take Spanish to the next level!

HappyFeet Soccer is a great way to start teaching your child about healthy habits. We teach Soccer foot-skills which help them with balance, coordination, and agility while also focusing on building their self-confidence through Soccer performance. HappyFeet Classes are non-competitive and therefore a lot of fun.

We use familiar songs, stories, nursery rhymes and fun games to introduce soccer to children as young as two years old. Our unique curriculum triggers your child's imagination by taking their soccer ball, Bob the Bobcat, on adventures to the zoo, the movies, and even an enchanted castle! Our philosophy and curriculum encourages children to tame their bobcat with their learned deceptive dribbling and ball striking skills. We leverage creative play and the important developmental skills it provides to make fitness and soccer their favorite weekly activity!

Our traveling Tumbling and Early Gymnastics program will focus on greater strength, flexibility, coordination, speed, balance, and discipline through gymnastics and early sports skills.

These skills establish awareness of spacial and perceptual concepts, increase confidence and integrating into groups, willingness to try new things and initiate play, enhance motor skills, feel pride in abilities, know colors and numbers, feel ready and excited to learn, listen, and engaging your child into a health and active lifestyle.
Our coaches will bring a variety of age appropriate supplies and equipment. Including but not limited to:

  • Music
  • Balance Beams
  • Trampoline
  • Bars
  • Parachute
  • Tumbling Mats
  • Hula Hoops

Maker Hour is an opportunity for your child to explore and create using STEM and library materials available from the Library's Makerspace. These resources include:

  • design structural engineering structures with Keva Planks
  • problem solving and spatial reasoning with mosaics
  • Sequencing skills and attention skills with origami
  • technology skill building with digital sticker making and 3D printing
  • develop fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills, visual motor skills, and problem solving skills through playing various board games. 
  • many more activities!

This program is student led, with multiple activity choices available for your child.

The Jacksonville Athletic Club works with kids of all ages, and where they differ from other track and field clubs is that they want the best LONG TERM development for your child. What they strive to do with kids ages 5-14 is teach them sound fundamentals, so that children will be able to continue to improve year in and year out. They don't pressure them to compete, rather allow them to have fun, learn, and become better athletes. They teach the kids how to do things properly from the beginning, so that the children will have long term success.

The Fitness and Character Education (F.A.C.E.) program developed by Mr. Kirk Farber, 7th degree Black Belt and Seminar Speaker, combines his 25+ years training in Martial Arts, jumping rope, and juggling to guarantee results in agility, coordination, focus, and timing for today’s youth.

Mr. Kirk incorporates building self-esteem and character education through public speaking on character traits during every class session. This program is for Upper Elementary, Lower Elementary, and Kindergarteners.

Children will gain experience with coding and robotics through a variety of technology tools. Kids Can Code teaches computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, sequences, loops, and functions through a kid-friendly interface on code.org.

Kid Coders use a visual programming language to “build” their code, and watch their creations come to life. Students put their coding skills to the test with real-life application through robotics challenges with Dash & Dot, Ozobot, Sphero, and many other robots.

The Knight School Chess Team at The Discovery School provides kids of all ages a fun and amazingly effective chess experience. Weekly lessons include clocks, zany chess videos, colorful
tactic bands, challenging strategy lessons, puzzlers for candy, and weekly Mardi Gras bead tournaments. In this well-refined curriculum, your child will make great chess friends, gain academic

Classes follow the Bricks 4 Kidz® motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play with… LEGO® Bricks.

  • We Learn– Teachers provide a 5-10 minute themed lesson. We Build– Students build the model of the day with simple step by step instructions. We Play– Students explore their own creativity through free play time
